hey
I downloaded usi 0.17 and im planning on putting the m1a1 in pr (private sp).Can someone please tell me what i need to do?

Ironically PR (at the least the USMC faction) uses USI's M1A1, all you have to do is change the spawns in the server.zip files of the map you wanna change, look in the community modding section of the forum for more info.

no the pr one isnt as realistic and it isnt sp i like the usi one better.

The PR one is the USI one, its the same model, Unless you think driving and gunning is more realistic.

well bots cant drive and the usi one has some other things like realistic hud and textures m240 and the driver controls the gun which is good for sp.

If you really want to use the USI one, be ready to run through a clusterfuck of decoding and errors, cause in order to make it work, you're going to have to modify alot of files, because PR is built differently than USI is. I can't show you how to do it exactly, cause it would require me to download USI myself, you have to learn BF2's structure to do it. I haven't seen USI's structure, but I know PR's is unique with the expanded Object client and server files. To start you off, starting putting the appropriate files from the USI M1A1, into the correct directories in PR. There is a version of the M1A1/A2 in PR that you can gun and drive in one seat... they're all over Kashan Desert SP, you just have to look. It isn't worth doing all that work.

ok thanks i hope maybe the devs would consider using that as the sp model for the a1 i know there is a sp a2 but the marine corps uses the a1 and i love the usi m1a1 but thanks anyway.

Coop is the new training I guess...

Theres no reason to have tanks like that, you need to learn to work with in a driver AND gunner situation or else you will never learn teamplay.

Although the old training was much more fun.

Like I said, PR uses USI's A1, keeping the HUDs and textures are different, you can replace some of the A2's on Co-Op Kashan with the USMC's A1.... Just modify the gameplayobjects.con.

Ok guys thanks for all the help! I guess ill have to use the multiplayer m1a1 i hope in the next release the devs will have a single player virsion with the m240 and realistic red crosshairs and hud.Its hard driving a multiplayer tank with bots.But i need to get used to it..
