GRAW 2 your CDKEY is not valid

hi there, i know this is a strange place to post problems about graw2 (Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2), but im really stuck on this one. Basically whenever i try to go on a multiplayer server i get the message, you CDKEY is not valid, i bought the game from steam just a couple of days ago, opened all the ports they said i needed, still no luck, hopefully someone here can help me out with this issue, thanks!

Hello, thank you for reply! yer ive posted a thread on their forum but with no replies so im really desperate for a solution, no it came with no key codes to enter, any other ideas?

right click on the game in the steam library and see if there is an option to view the CD key.

has the game asked you to input the CD key at all??

right, i right clicked on the game on steam and there is a cd key there, but at no point of starting up the game up to going on the multiplayer servers does it ask for the key atleast i have a key tho!

Myself and three friends are having this exact same problem. We purchased the game last weekend and cannot join or create a multiplayer game. I started a ticket with Steam, but they are swamped apparently and I haven't heard anything back yet. Since it is happening to all three of my friends as well I highly doubt this is something we are going to be able to fix on our own.

Sorry I don't have an answer. If Steam gets back to me, I'll let you know what they say.

Just to update, i still havent found a solution, but when i do i will post it on here for other people with this problem, so untill ive posted a solution, i will still be having a problem with this and will still need assistance, thank you!

sorry man, i didnt intend to offend you, anyway, i sent a message to steam and theyve palmed me off to go ask ubisoft, and when i sent them a message they gave me a stupid auto message pointing me to the faq...
