Add the FN FAL?

I don't know if it was proposed before, but I believe that FN FAL rifle should be included in PR.

In Discovery Channel's Top 10 rifles, the FN FAL is number 5.

It was dubbed the "Right arm of the free world" for being widely used by Western armies such as Britain and many other Western European countries.

The FN FAL is very widely used rifle that has seen combat in numerous fields of warfare around the world.

Maybe it should be available for a militia or insurgent class, or maybe specialist units in Blufor armies.

It's certainly a beauty that along with the Steyr-AUG should possibly be considered.

This is project reality remember, do any forces currently in game use this weapon?

Blufor and most opfor , no. Militia i doubt it and INS maybe but would need some sort of reasoning (production in the region etc)

along with the styer, it would be stupid to give US or UK a styer kit wouldnt it? tho as you can see both weapons are being made for community mods.

The G3 and FN FAL do make appearances in the hands of militias, insurgencies and irregulars. There is no doubt about that.

No 'blufor' included in PR currently issues FN FAL to mainstream forces and PR is supposed to represent mainstream forces. The FN FAL is no longer used because rifle is obsolete to say the least (and already nearing obsolesce when it was first introduced). The FN FAL is still employed in some armies here and there, and some times it might serve well for a narrow 'niche market' of some non-mainstream troops, but today the rifle is almost entirely used because many armies have budget constraints and can't currently issue newer rifles.

As you can see, there are community mods making the FAL and AUG already. So they're being included if and when the com mods are done.

Locking this because the suggestion is already being implemented.
