I remember back in BFV they had forces and different divisions like the MAC-V SOG which was AWESOME! Too bad they didn't have the Screaming Eagles.
The forces are not to hard to find out US/ARVN/France (maybe) vs VC/NVA.

The mod could also include France, depending on how far back along the timeline it goes. I'd also like to see a representation for the only 2 "western" nations who sent combat troops to fight along side the US, i'll leave it to you guys to find out who they were

The bulk of 1 Australian Task Force were regular troops; infantry bn's supported by tanks, APC, artillery, engineer and various logistical elements.

How the heck is New Zealand more important in the Vietnam War than South Korea? New Zealand had only a couple hundred wounded, and only 37 dead.

South Korea had much more troops, much more involvement in the war.

Plus I don't think that spec ops should be in the game. Also it's FORCE recon, not Fource recon.

Also really, the only communist combatants were basically all Vietnamese. China, the Soviet Union, and North Korea only supplied the NVA and VC with supplies, not with troops on the ground. There are rumors that some expeditionary units were sent, but if it were just rumors, then that means that they were too insignificant to even be confirmed to be a direct enemy combatant.

I think that the US military, South Vietnamese military, South Korean Marines, and the French military should be in the game.

For the "bad guys", Viet Cong, and the NVA. Plus the Vietminh against the French.

I wouldn't object to seeing a few, infantry-heavy, maps in there that involved SOG. Like the old Ho Chi Minh Trail map in BF:V.

You cant have vietnam with out "special forces". They played a key part in the war and introduce new ways to play the game. They arent even really "special forces" they'll be using the same kit as the regular army, the player models will just have different skins.

It was a French colony. The battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954 saw the French be defeated by the Viet Minh (essentially VC). The US sent some bombers, but no real support. This battle pretty much forced the French out and pretty much can be seen as one of the starting points of the whole conflict.
