Iron Sights?
I don't know because I am new to your forums but I was wandering since you guys are going for realism will you be incorporating iron-sights? If so will you be able to shoot from the hip at all? Will you be able to run if you are in iron sight mode or whatever?

I was emailed the other day and that's how I heard about this mod. I was offered a position on the team but at the moment I am not sure if I can work for reality. I would love to because I really want to be on a mod that has a vision and will strive to make sure it gets finished but I am already involved with 2 mod teams at the present time.

I should probably mention that ironsights as well as really cool new scopes and red dot sights and holosights are already in BF2, and they're very stylishly and realistically done. Although, naturally, they fudged up the scopes themselves as far as the look goes, but the way they operate is well done.

It should be like Call of Duty.
When you zoom/focus, it should bring the gun up with iron sight. But when you walk around their should be a crosshair.
Think about it- in real life, in the real 3D world, you would always have some sense as to where exactly your gun is pointing, and the crosshair is really the only fair duplication of this aiming.
