With what style do you play PR? and which style do you think works best?

now i see. some people like more to run in a quick rush and take out all flags or caches alike of the enemy, other's are more pacient and defessive whiling to preserver assets and win in atrition istead of objetive taking.

but rather if you are a ''rusher'' or a ''turtle'' if you kwon what i am meaning, you still have to need alot of teamwork,skill and leadership to do you especific nature. and of course please you way of enjoing a batlle.

some other may take a more especial forces role, when other prefer to in front line whicht all firepower they can get and kill everone tough alot of bullets and explosives.

and there is other how simples will take the mostly wiser choice of the moment in order to win.

hoever, being someone that is versatly in all tipes of warfare does't not mean you don't have a favorit weopow. so what's is yours?

because i like to be a ''rusher'' if get the ideia, it's a bit hard to this job in PR (not impossible of couse), but that's is the pride of a rusher do the hard way and make everone else thick it is easy. kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

I don't know what category I fall into maybe an asset whore if i do infantry i usually opt fro the AR kit or a marksman i prefer ranged combat rather than CQB

I'm the third kind.
A truck drivin' man.
I like to run logistics but often times the squad fills up with inf on the ground and I try to play defensive but I don't like to turtle up.
I like to defend my pushing my perimeter out and keeping people on the move rather than camp.

Steamroll the enemy into submission, death or retreat. I cannot handle defending, its such an effortless game and simply isn't interesting. Regardless of deaths or setbacks, its about firing when they aren't there, but you know they are near.

Nothing is funner than completing an objective while going up against a considerably bigger force or force-multiplier (Tank/emplacements) especially when its successful.

Example on Beirut, my squad was the only squad attacking. I had comms with the defenders (Psyrus.au) and agreed that they'd attack when I neutralized. In H7 there was a Merkava and a FOB, with 2x HMG's and one TOW. We managed to go from building to building in a tight blob formation, capping the flag from under them and allowing the cap to start on the next flag before they managed to get this one back. We managed to neutralize their 2nd flag (South City) until we all got bored and yawnquit.

Marker is on the Merkava/FOB, we had to move from building to building to get on the cap without being noticed.


Had to stay in blindspots too, tank was looking directly at us when we were here.

a turtle is indeed someone that don't what to take risks and WILL DEFEND, considering all about tickets, if you loose more tickets that you take out you turtle tatics will not work, that is a true concept in turtle war fare.

turtles prefer long range weopows, since they will stay like campers, and will use a efective use of fire bases and logistics, when they atack they advance slow and steady. prefering do loose the objetive but kill more enemys that die.

A rusher is the opose of that, they prefer assault vehicles like tanks, and close combat atack instead of long range, since they will be going quick to cap points no matter how many men die, what is important in a rush in PR is to take out all flags, for that no enemy can say they turtle strategy worked, because all tickets go out quicly. and this is desapoiding to a turtle how like late games.

both things are heavily apliend in RTS games, but in PR they show up has well, that is why i like PR ALOT, it combine RTS aspecks whicht Shooter aspects, has well some SIRIUS REALISM, that i love 2.

hoever the ''turtle'' or ''rusher'' of PR is no douth diferent, and something that i wishes to see in PR is to balace the 2 tipes of ways to win, i mean having not only balace in the teams but aloing both to do the 2 tipes of doutrin, of course some maps will encourage one tipe of strategy or another, but this is also a fun thing.

rembering that the ''turtle'' or ''rusher'' well, can take ALOT of other forms in game, i saying that close combat is the way of rusher in MOST cases, runing sneaky and taking flats to use quick kiling and spoting long range while use ropes to clib back can be a quick strategy and efective in a take and hold like in mustrah that not favors much rushing, BUT STILL POSIBLE DO IT.

Shoot'em when they're not looking and either run away or finish them off when they are... I don't particularly call that a style.

Skirmisher maybe? Somebody who harasses the enemy constantly on offense or defense while still trying to justify any ticket losses.

Course there's the "Yes sir" style as well, but I'm not very fond of it. Even when I play this way, I'll still bring up stuff I have issues with.

I guess you propely style is Guerrilha warfare, after all shoot and run tatics are one of my favorit to, to bad the infantry donnot run enough or fast enough to execut it properly in PR.

i would enxange my granades, ammo bags, and even some armor if i RUN ALOT, just my assault rifle a scope and that will be all. a very light infantry login if you got what i mean

In my opinion in insurgency, blufors is capable to engage from long distances with APC's IFV's and tanks. Usually conventional forces tactics include destroying enemy from safe distance and then moving up. Insurgents do the opposite, they move up TO engage the enemy. I think weapons and vehicles affect a lot on this.

Some squads work in a hurry, because they don't relie enough on other squads. If there's no commander, organization can be a little messy.

I like 2000-blitzkrieg, where tanks and APC's engage, while infantry moves into target with fast vehicles.
When playing on insurgents and stuff... i like camping in same place with rpg or explosives, maybe for whole game because that's what insurgents do.

I'll regroup my guys at the rear with some fast transport and try to break through the line without fighting, get a fob or entrenched position behind their lines and disrupt their spawns & try to cap the flag.

If everyone is on assault with no one bothering to defend (aka ALWAYS) then I'll tell my squad to suck it up because we're gonna be on defense until the attackers can neutralize.

Or if everyone is trying everything but there aren't 6 FOBs up, I'll build the number of fobs required for a decent attack & defense [2 & 4 respectively].

I like play carefully... Moving quarter by quarter spoting enemies position and make suprise close combat... My favorite kit, Specialist rifleman, help me a lot

Playing as insurgent a like make little ambush.... IED traps or RPG in the city for hunvee or APC that get inside the city...

I also this tipe of Guy, trough like i say my favority stile is rushing, want i mostly like to be is Smart AND alive, has well whicht a good frag.

and to do so, we go to do what is needed, if you gotta need to entrech, fine you gotta it, but when i entreach i try to repeat stalingard, so for each men die, ten more take it's place. and no one step back. if the team need to defend, i mean the team need's time, and time is bough whicht your blood! indeed.
