I’m sure you get a couple of thousand of these a month, but I have searched the forums and looked at the ***. I am almost curtain that this is not a re-suggestion. Anyhow, this is my suggestion:

A new game mode, called 'Escort' or something along those lines. The aim of Team 1 will be to escort civilians to a specified point. And Team 2's objective is to stop them from doing so. Only a light helicopter (Team one, armed with 2 MG’s), some light tanks (APC, BTR's, both sides, but very few) and transport vehicles (Team one large trucks and combat jeeps, Team two, jeeps only) will be available. (Remember, these are rough outlines. The exact details can be changed and so forth, this is only to make you 'visualise' my idea)

Team 1: Team one will have the normal amount of kits available for that faction, but it will also be able to spawn Civilians. Civilians are tools. All they have are rocks. Practically, they are defenceless, and need to be escorted by the troops. So, in this team getting the balance of civvies/troops is important. FB's can be built, but Civvies cannot spawn on them. Civvies can only spawn at main. Troops can spawn everywhere, however. Once there have been a curtain amount of civilians that have crossed the 'border' (off of map, but will be an instant repspawn for civilians that fall off in the zone), Team one would have won the game. Team one looses the game if they run out of tickets or time runs out (civvies will be 1 ticket).

Team 2: Will be an insurgent type faction. They will have to stop TEAM 1 from getting civilians across the 'border'. Their tickets will go down by * every time a civvies goes across the border, making them have * opportunities to let them cross.


Why I think this would fit in with the theme of 'Project Reality':

Modern combat isn’t what it was 60 years ago. The current battles of Project Reality are normally quite like those battles. Taking objectives, that it, no matter what the casualties. With the introduction of the 'insurgency' game mode we further created the scene of realism of modern combat in places such as Iraq or Afghanistan. But, in many of the European conflicts (Georgia-Russian conflict, HAMAS Vs IDF at Gaza), many refugees who have been pushed out of their homes are ferried by military troops to safe locations. These convoys are prone to destruction. It will fit in with 'Project reality' quite well I believe, because it fits in with the modern combat that we are facing today, and therefore is wanted in the 'Reality' of our mod.

The point is interesting, but I HATE SPEC OPS SHIET. using MILITARY TATICS and taking MILITARY OBJETIVES, whichtout sensitive matters, in the old way just get in and shoot everone is what war is up to.

hoever this will prety will be prety nasty if we escort some Judy reporters, after all no one like reporters. and insurgent will like they dead. so escorthing they in a Insurgency will be a good side quest to decrese insurgents thickets has well give bluefor more ways to win. turning the sugestion this way will be good, because insurgents kick bluefor asses more and more times that usually. so new ways to win WILL BE NECESSARY, has well funny. and also i don't belive outherwise this enfort will be largely used has a game mod sicne people just play insrugency/AAS ALL TIME.

this has already been done in PR before and it will be done with the PSC faction

As stated previously, this game mode is in development for the PSC faction. Also, it is an uber resuggestion, therefore I am locking it.
