So are you talking about a whole new game mode or just modifying a map?

Said that to a guy who kept complaining to the SL cause "Im bored of just walking around in the middle of nowhere and my sprint bar is down all the way!" on Kashan near that bridge at the northern outpost.Dev1200 wrote:

THE.FIST started working on it.. but hes banned now.. so idk.. O.odtacs wrote: Russian Ground Forces do not have an 'assault jeep', they use a Humvee-like vehicle called the GAZ-2975 "Tigr" which to my knowledge isn't being developed for PR....yet.
If not, you get destroyed by meNebsif wrote:All kozelsk needs is a T-62 fix, thats it. My favorite map btw, I usually go 1st place in teh team w/o dying once with a BTR-80A, its so efficient if used right.![]()
Kozelsk feels a little small (alot of the southeast part is water) and there arn't alot of hiding spots (no caves or buildings etc, it'd be alot of wandering around the forset for the Russians)Tannhauser wrote:The only change I want for this map is....
Add insurgency mode.
Nuff said.
khe khe у него экзамены!May be hes comming back!Nebsif wrote:THE.FIST started working on it.. but hes banned now.. so idk.. O.o

Sweet, will balance things out well.Nebsif wrote: THE.FIST started working on it.. but hes banned now.. so idk.. O.o
we could place vodnick to russians has well. it alerdy has in Retroat map mode. very good mod after all, vodnick has good enough to beat a Hummer at easy.Imchicken1 wrote:If not, you get destroyed by meI destroyed 7 1/2 BTR's the other night on Kozelsk, not to brag or anything

As for what the suggestion actually is, he wants a medium sized version of Kozelsk (not skirmish size, and not the size with all the heavy assets like apc's and tanks)
A map size that's halfway inbetween these two sizes with light vehicles, such as Technicals for the militia and some kind of jeep for the Russians (which currently does not exist)
i don't like walking because i prefer runing instead, but comparing the in game character to the real men here in real life he is slow like a turtle, and tired like a fat cow.Dev1200 wrote:I love skirmish kozelsk the way it is. I don't see why there should be vehicles to litter the map mid-game with people solo-ing them to the front line.

You haven't seen much of the map then.Imchicken1 wrote: Kozelsk feels a little small (alot of the southeast part is water) and there arn't alot of hiding spots (no caves or buildings etc, it'd be alot of wandering around the forset for the Russians)
40% people of Israel speak Russian!Fist and nebsif joined for that 40%dtacs wrote:Also, I noticed that your country is 'Isreal', not Israel.

the problem is, why someone will like insurgents even more tougher that Hamas? i mean hamas firepower is a epic fail, to weak for a AAS and to strong for a insurgency, so a totally useless faction indeed.Tannhauser wrote:You haven't seen much of the map then.
No need to modify it, it already has everything you need for insurgency mode.
I could already see more than 30 spots for caches all around the map. And it would make these spots on the map much more common to play around than with the current layout.
Eastern Militia bunkers. Training camp. River bunker (the one with a ladder). Many good spots at Militia Trenches. The oh so numerous bunkers and the missile silo. Farming outpost. The cave near the rope bridge in the mountains. The numerous outposts clustered in the mountains. The outpost north of farming. Those few housings near the lake. The tons of barracks south of missile silo.... And that's just to name a few areas with many spots where you can hide a cache.
It would feel different from Iron Ridge and its easily accessible areas ; in kozelsk, finding caches would be trivial, but access to said caches would be much more difficult for vehicles and infantry alike.
Oh and uh...
Sorry for OT.
Well, when you put it that way...Tannhauser wrote:Eastern Militia bunkers. Training camp. River bunker (the one with a ladder). Many good spots at Militia Trenches. indeed, that is why i am sugesting, also we will need to replace ALL mediun maps,[R-DEV]Deer wrote:I made the map but i havent played skirmish version so much. But it was still very fun when i played it few times, skirmish gamemode isnt supposed to have any vehicles but ofc it can be made smaller if it works better.. i just havent played it enough to know if its needed to tweak it somehow.
And i agree more filling up maps is good idea, after rallypoints were removed and pretty much all medium maps were removed, it has been really boring to fill up server. There is very few maps that works with small amount of players, 0 maps that are good for medium amount of players, and rest of the maps are good only when server is almost full.
There were plenty of good maps for medium amount of players among those which were removed, good to be played when server wasnt full yet.
