Commander

Post by Amir »

Hi everyone,

So this is my 2nd suggestion I came up with, and it is, as the title says; the commander.
( this is more a feedback than a suggestion )
On many games I've played I've almost never seen an active commander. I would like it if the PR-Devs would make the commander a more important person in-game. I mean, it's kinda cool now that the commander has an UAV and an airstrike available. But that's just not enough to convince people to have one in their team.
Although, I understand that most of the people don't want to be one because it gets boring after a small time of UAV'ing. Now what I want is give the commander a more vulnerable function in-game. Like don't giving him weapons because some of the commander 'abuse' by going in combat with it and placing markers this way without using the UAV.
I really have no idea atm how to make this but I hope some of you will agree with it and maybe post some suggestions ? :? :

There have been many threads created in the past regarding this precise issue. As that is the case and you do not present any new ideas in this thread it is henceforth locked.

The idea for the suggestion forum is that you post your suggestion and idea for it's implementation and others can then discuss the merits of your ideas. Whilst I agree with you that the commander is underused in PR I would ask that you firstly search around the forums to see what other ideas have already been presented and then come up with your own suggestions.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "
