Graphic card and motherboard compatibility
So I have a P4SD-LA (Stingray) motherboard on my Desktop i recently got. I have a GeForce 7300 GT on it and it's supposdly the best graphics card for it so the guy had said but i want to get conformation from Very smart techincal people. So my question is Is the GeForce 7300 GT the best graphics card i can put on the P4SD-LA (Stingray) or could i put something better on there?

No. It's not.
Newegg.com - Computer Hardware,Video Cards & Video Devices,Desktop Graphics / Video Cards,AGP 4X/8X,Radeon HD 4000 series,320 Stream Processing Units
Those are the best you can get for your AGP mobo. That 7300 is far from the best tho.

I hope you got that PC second hand for a very cheap price...
But in any case, FuzzySquirrel is right on the mark. The best AGP graphics card you can currently purchase is the HD4670 for just a bit over 100 bucks. This card will eat the 7300GT for breakfast, as it equals/outperforms the 9600GT which was a fairly decent budget gaming card back in the day.

Good luck
Make sure your power supply is able to handle it also.

Re: Graphic card and motherboard compatibility
7600GS cards are good for AGP 4x only, you have a bit more flexibility if your AGP is 8x. Either way you are really scraping the barrel when it comes to this spec of system and PR thesedays. Baseline systems much more powerful are only a few hundred pounds/dollars and finding old gfx cards compatible with old motherboards can be hard, and costly. Think about turning your old system into a NAS-drive for backups/media storage and buy something newer.
