Moving currents/tides

This is kinda a question/suggestion..

Any chance of moving currents for the rivers and brooks that are in PR. so say when your swimming across the river in beiruit you can be pulled/ swept up or down stream by the current? And could these currents match the real life tides?

for any one who asks is it possible to sweep people down river, the answer is most likely not, but even if it is possible it is far too much work to make it worth it and it would be probaly very buggy at the end of it too.

even possible it would cause lag issues get worse.
