Hey nice some time back ive seen this mapthread, whats the status on the map so far? I made this snowstorm effect YouTube - Battlefield2 Snowstorm Effect some years back, its a edited sandstorm effect of the old fallujah sandstorm map from pr...

If you wana see this effect ingame you have to test my last snowmaps i released, called "frostbite night" or "christmas hill" they both features this effect...

A picture of the frostbite night map:

Let me know if you need snowtextures for the ground, got tons of them!

we could really use the snowstorm effect, and maybe the textures you have used on the house from the frostbite map?

how large is the frostbite map?

you can PM me or Zeno :D

Hehe i already sent you and zeno the pm!

I hope i could help you guys a bit, atm i am not mapping anymore, i was r-con here before... thought reallife and my own opinion made me stop modding... too sad i wish i could have offer you guys more time, especialy the project reality team, i made alot maps for bf2 but never came around to make or finish a actualy pr map, now i wish i had... but i am not sure if i want to start mapping again for bf2 for now!

Lets see what the future brings ;)

Thats pretty nice Jones, if you want help getting back in to bf2 mapping just xfire me on trekkyaaron or pm me on these forums :)

H.Sta, it might be worth contacting Sniperdog for CA's rain effect, I'm sure it can be easily modified to be a snow effect, afaik he has it working so that the rain doens't come inside buildings.

there is already a Rain/Snow effect of [EoD]Junglist (tutorial @ bfeditor.org)
and adding collisions to the effects may cause lag on 4km maps

If you use the IRON GATOR essex static, it would make that a really interesting place to fight (if there is going to be fighting there).
Really good looking and unique, keep it up :)
