Can't stop the respawn after death.

Hello everyone.

I've this little problem constantly, whenever I get killed (aka: dead dead) and even after I deselect my last spawn point in the map (using capslock), I respawn at my last spawn point when the timer reaches zero.

I've found someone with the same problem here but couldn't post there, so that's the reason why I started this thread.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Choose a kit you shouldn't have (like SL or a limited kit that's already in use) your spawn timer should skyrocket.
Yes it's just a workaround.

I thought I was doing something wrong, but your suggestion is a good one, at least it works and will avoid more rage towards me by the squad leaders.

I think I found out what I was doing wrong.

When you are dead you need to deselect your last spawn point AND press done after it. Then you can open the map again and you won't spawn when the timer reaches zero.
