I can provide hosting, a website, and domain for it.
My other major suggestion is offering printed versions of the magazine for sale, with all proceeds going to benefit the PR team. (nonprofit)

Startrekern has a great point! that would allow the pr team to use those profits to purchase more resources that would otherwise be unavailable and make the game even better!
just dont make it too pricey, otherwise i wouldnt want to buy it
but i think that before you go off selling it you should first just do the computer version to see how it works out, after 4 or 5 editions if its going good and your gaining fans then you might try printing and selling it for a small price (of course you would need to make a little money for yourselves to pay off the costs of printing and shipping the mags, and any other resources you need to use)

Take my Interview , it's ok .
I am very curious to see that

Do a Proof Of Concept, see which one people like more, or which one is more doable.

Padcast obviously cant include photos and videos. Im not for a printed version of a magazine because im not from states, so it would be difficult and expensive for me to get it. I think that an online magazine with some adds with readers from all around the world is the best choice.

Re: PR Magazine maybe a go....?
thats what I was thinking. once I get a little bit of free time, I'll put together a Proof of Concept magazine and podcast to see what is better. Won't be hard. and it'll be dated information but still just a test.

Unless you get the PR devs to leak you information on the unannounced features I don't think they'll be enough worthwhile content to fill a magazine. A podcast or videocast would be a much better option, they only need to be about 30minutes long and if you went with a video you could show some gamplay at the same time.

Re: PR Magazine maybe a go....?
Well thats the main thing that I'm considering Looy. One person can make a podcast while it takes many many people to make a good magazine. Although I would rather have more than 1 person on the podcast. Maybe get interviews via a VoIP program such as skype. That and it can be downloaded instead of having to go to the site to read it. Although a Vodcast may not be the way to go because of privacy issues, as a podcast wouldn't actually show people.
Then again a vodcast can be featured on Livestream.com or something to that extent to get real time chat feedback and/or people calling in.

I feel there isn't enough content for you to write a magazine on, where the info isn't already on the forums.
Where are you going to get new content?

Of course if you closely cooperate with the people who do the PR news updates, you might get some exclusive information.
Like, every month your current issue could be linked to at the main page at realitymod.com, summing up the latest highlights, blogs, and additionally having interviews and some new screenshots etc.
That'd keep the information to realitymod.com since the main page is where everyone will find your magazine every time you release a new edition. So it won't be a totally independed project that will be forgotten because only a handful of readers actually look out for new editions.
If the Devs cooperate, that is^^
Maybe interviews with beta-testers might be interesting (if allowed to by the Devs of course), regarding specific assets/gameplay changes and how they work out in beta.
I'd also involve the community somehow. Be it a simple poll or maybe something related to the ongoing events of servers, like interviews with admins and players of a specific server that could be highlighted.
Just throwing in random ideas^^

I do like the ideas. I'm just wondering out of curiousity. If we put together a (say live podcast) where we have specific topics for the week or bi-weekly and people could phone in using skype and an online chat box. How many people would contribute to the discussions?

A magazine would be cool, but I think the effort isn´t worth it. Podcasts would (IMO) be better..Über 1337 vidz OWNZ

Re: PR Magazine maybe a go....?
a 3-5 minute monthly podcast talking about the latest DEV blogs/highlights and PR server events or any other PR news would be really good imo, and would be alot less effort than a magazine imo. (since the highlight compilation does the job of a magazine imo)

If you can get a writing team together it would actually be quite a joy to read.

I'm working on something.
"You know we've had to imagine the war here, and we have imagined that it was being fought by aging men like ourselves. We had forgotten that wars were fought by babies. When I saw those freshly shaved faces, it was a shock "My God, my God?" I said to myself. "It's the Children's Crusade."- Kurt Vonnegut, Slaughter House Five

There is plenty to build a monthly or quarterly PR magazine with. Interviews, Highlights/Blogs, Interesting Discussions, Commentaries, and tactics, etc. are plenty to populate a 20+ page magazine on a regular basis. It would take some work on the part of the writers and editors to grab content, but there is surely a dedicated base to add content.

With the amount of people willing to contribute I don't think it would be that hard.[R-DEV]Katarn wrote:There is plenty to build a monthly or quarterly PR magazine with. When L4gi and I were still receiving applications, this is what I had in my PM box, other ones in my email aren't shown. There were at the least 10 applicants.
