Can I run it??

Post by ResTrepo »

Hey guys I have posted here previously about this topic but I am looking at a new computer and was wondering if I would be able to run PR. I don't know the rules against posting links but I will anyways.

Walmart.com: CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra A104 Desktop PC with AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor, Windows 7 Home Premium: Computers

So if anybody can check that cpus' specs it would be greatly appreciated.

You forget how to use Google?
Type search: AMD Athlon II 250
Click on first link:Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache
Read specks.
In answer to your question, Yes the rig in question should run PR fine.
Tho I think you could upgrade your current rig with a new motherboard/CPU combo w/t new ram for less from new egg.

Depending on the motherboard you can usually unlock the 3rd and 4th cores of that CPU and have a Decent Quad core for the price of a Dual.

Um... are you two not looking at his link 0_o
#2GB DDR3 system memory

# Onboard ATI graphics
Will not run PR... well at any decent FPS anyway

You gotta spend around $750 on a rig to play PR at decent settings with decent FPS, that's the crux of the matter. ~$500-600 will get you low specs at decent fps or decent specs at low fps. <$500 will get you fail
