Error listening on a socket

Every time I try to create an account it always says "There was an error listening on a socket." How do I fix this?

Edit: Scratch that, I made the account but every time I log in with the username it still says the same thing. When I log in with my email it says error, invalid account. It did this with Battlefield 2 too.

Edit 2: Just solved the problem, it was because MacAfee's firewall wasn't allowing Battlefield 2 to access the internet.
