What you should do, Eddie, is what I did when I made a few podcasts when my friends were away on study abroad programs. Id just ramble about **** going on at school, but what Id do was drop my voice pitch to be more "talk show host" like. You know, all these guys on talk shows on the radio have nice bassy voices
My friends said it was both annoying and hilarious

Re: Eddie's FOB
Thanks guys.
I'm going on Holiday, but last night I recorded four interviews that I will release when I get back over the period of a few days each.
The one with Dunehunter is epic.

It was pretty good. Decent questions that gave some good answers. I personally would like to see some more 'what can we see in the future from you' rather than personal questions, but none the less you kept it interesting and fresh.
Will definitely listen in to future casts.

Hahaha, I wouldnt know where to start. That would be very complex, and honestly I have no idea.sylent/shooter wrote:I love itgreat job Eddie. Have you ever thought of hosting a live talkshow? where people can call in and talk?
If It were possible, I might consider it. But I really have no idea how to do it.

I really don't know much about teamspeak or mumble or whatever but could you have like a private channel on a teamspeak server or whatever with you as admin rights or whatever and have like a waiting room and you randomly select someone from the waiting room and move them into your channel to talk to? then, when your done, you move them back out of this private room that they cant enter without admin rights or whatever and randomly select someone else

I might try this.

Re: Eddie's FOB
You could do it like our shoutcasters do it here at NetGameRadio for their Inside Battlefield segment which basically covers the weekly stuff going on in the BC2/BF2 ladders and clan updates, pretty interesting with some decent music linked in which is a winamp/WMP feed but that would take some hosting stuff.
Or you could use the simple way by having a vent channel in which all listeners can join, with everybody muted and they have to request talk power to be able to contribute. We had that once with about 20 people, but everybody could talk and when they wanted to say something related to the discussion (was on a spawn blocking rule on scrims) you simply flashed your mic button and the guys in charge would address you. Obviously they didn't let arguments get carried away and kicked people if they spammed.

Eddie, you first of all share my root name. Edward.
Also your voice is very clear, eloquent, concise, very soothing to hear LOL.
So yeah, just praising the excellent production values and your radio talkshow host quality voice.

I really enjoyed this! I personally love hearing about the various backgrounds of R-MODS and R-CONS etc. It really puts a personality to many people who I know only through forums. Keep them coming Eddie, I think this will be a hit!
Sniperdog, interesting to know you're an Aerospace Engineer. In the Fall I'm attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for Aeronautical Science. You mentioned you go to Syracuse but is that where you're from originally? I'm from Long Island so just a little curiousety.
