Operation Dragonfly: Performance issues
I'm not sure if this affects everyone, but my computer seems to have a really hard time playing this map

I used to have this a lot with almost all maps, lowering you graphics settings, especially the textures, in the options menu helps a lot in reducing lag. a bad connection with the server can also cause unpredictable freezing.
hopes this helps you, otherwise you might want to check the tech support forum, I'm sure a common problem like this one has been discussed there before.

I had the same problem before, use to lag like crazy. I just ended up buying a new computer. I'm almost positive this is why this map is not as popular on servers, simply because it hogs resources for some reason. Fun map thou

I agree. It seems to require more memory usage then most maps. I got a memory crash twice last night playing the map. And i have textures low and run most other maps flawless.

Yeah, the map is bugged in regards to memory usage.
Honestly can't say if there will be fixing, I wouldn't count on it though.
If you want to play it, your best bet is lowering your Texture settings, if you can.

Re: Operation Dragonfly: Performance issues
Even lowering my textures and overall graphics to lowest settings I kept crashing when I would get the visuals loaded. I never really liked the map, and the fact that everyone has FPS/stability issues with this map seems indicative of removal. I eventually loaded up, only to see the server half emptied as a lot of other people CTD'ed.
And god forbid should I want a helo extraction, my frames drop to less then 10.
I strongly suggest updating/removing this map as in its current version is clearly buggy and barely playable to many of us.
