Hi there!
I'm new to PR, and I haven't really had any problems until I actually started playing on servers with people on them. After every game, the scoreboard will display, along with being able to click the details for the "Best ..." as well as briefing. I can quickly click any of the above options, and it can switch over to that tab. But, in a matter of seconds, I can no longer hear players in the server I am in, and the game freezes. My cursor moves along the screen, but I can't go back to the desktop with ALT + TAB, or the Windows Key, and the Task Manager will not open. I have to resort to turning my computer off and then back on by holding the power button for a few seconds. So, any help for fixing this?
PC Specs:
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz.
RAM: 1GB DDR2
Graphics: ATI Radeon X300 (128MB)
After explaining to my tech savvy friend what's been going on, he insists that my CPU is overheating. For some reason, I highly doubt this. The case is very cool, and I would think that the computer would shut itself down in a case of overheating. Even if it is overheating, I don't really have a way of cooling it any. The fan in the PC is already a decent one, and I can't afford a better one currently, in BIOS, it is already set to Max Speed.
Thank you in advance.

Re: PR Freezes After Every Game
When looking for answers please follow these simple steps.
#1 : Read the red stickys First.
New PR problems are rare so most answers can be found here.
#2. Use the search feature on PRs web site or GOOGLE IT!.
Often the quickest way to find what your looking for when you have an error message.
#3. Please remember to include your basic PC info in your post
You have spent some time trying to help yourself without any luck, so your ready to ask for help:
Please include your basic PC info in your post :
Operating system = XP, Vista etc.
systems specks = cpu/speed, ram installed, video card/video ram on card, type of monitor
network setup = cable, 4 port 10/100/1000 d- link gamers lounge/ wired connection.
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.
The more info you can give the better your chance of getting a quick answer back.
You don't have to write a book,
but your basic PC info is needed to help you.
Good luck
