3ds max, maya. Or if you want a free one, gmax. http://www.turbosquid.com/gmax

Which is the best free program that exports to bf2? I don't want a cheap one. But I don't want one that extremely hard. BTW why do the gmax models look poor quality?

Can any one tell me how to insert an image from paint onto a post? Also is it possible to make models as in gmax as good as the ones you guys made?

Save. Upload somewhere (photobucket.com, imageshack.us, or any of the many sites out there). Use [img] tags.

As far as I know, gmax is the only free program that you can use with BF2. gmax is basically 3dsmax with the features that aren't needed for game modelling removed. So you wouldn't notice any functional difference between that and 3ds max, and you can make the same quality models in both. The models you've seen probably look poor quality because they are :p

Well you can use .obj, but .max for 3ds Max 9 is 100% Preferred. You get alot less model errors then.
