ok, how about when you die, your kit dies with you,( like with a 2 or 3 second linger time for kits after death)
This would solve a couple of issues in one go.
1,would stop the kit stealing issue of enemy uniforms.
2,would stop people using dead officer kits for medipacks encouraging the need to stay alive and medics doing their job
3,would stop single squads having, for example, 3 or 4 AR kits, etc.
4,would stop people crying over others stealing their precious sniper kits

not realistic because your body stays there for 5 mins so does your kits though, however if this were for Taliban i say reduce their kit time down to 3 or 4 because ina city a kid would probs run up pick up your RPG and give it someone who isn't.

your body stays for 5 mins if wounded so medics have more time to revive, what i suggest is after "death", and, which i forgot to add, if hitting give up. which would also give medics better chance of locating revivals.
As for not realistic, bluefor would not take an AK over their superior weapons and don the rag instead of the helmet.

Re: re Enemy kit stealing
when you get "wounded" or "dead" the kit is dropped and no longer linked with the player, as far as i know thats hardcoded into the BF2 engine. so the kit doesnt know whether you are wounded or dead. it's the same reason why if you get wounded over a pile of other dead guys and get revived, you might get revived with the wrong kit in your hand.danger01 wrote:your body stays for 5 mins if wounded so medics have more time to revive, what i suggest is after "death", and, which i forgot to add, if hitting give up. which would also give medics better chance of locating revivals.

also IIRC this is a resuggestion

Re: re Enemy kit stealing
The biggest problem imo is when taliban or insurgents "only" have blufor kits after the first contact. It's just makes it so unrealistic.
Also the best way to stop this is to instant kill anyone picking up any enemy kit. This way the kit can remain on the ground for a long time.

None of the things you have listed are actual issues :\
Never had a problem with Ins taking blufor kits. It's very easy to tell the different between friend or foe, regardless of their kit

Kits stay for long time to prevent other exploits worse than what you've listed.
This might be tweaked in future, but for now it will stay how it is.
