Server Specific CTDs

Hey I have an issue with crashing to desktop(standard way with no error messages) but the issue only occurs on specific servers (2 to be precise).
I can play for 3+hours on most servers (e.g. UKWF, TG, hardcore etc.) however if i join the nwa or the merk servers I CTD after about 2mins of gameplay, sometimes earlier sometimes later but I always crash regardless of map or what is happening in game.

I have followed pretty much all the CTD troubleshooting guides.
as a quick list I have:
-cleared cache manually,
-used bf2cleaner
-changed resolution down
-changed pretty much every graphic and audio setting to minimum (even turned some up in different attempts)
- PB manual and auto updates and pvsvc.exe

Recently I have re-formatted my PC and so have a completely fresh install of everything and the problem persists.
This has lead me to believe the issue is not caused by settings either on my pc or in-game

So my main question is could these CTD's be caused by a connection problem to certain IP's? and if so does anyone know anything I can do about it?

Its clearly not a server side issue as these servers are popular, I have asked merk admins but they were unsure of any reason for this to be happening

2gb ram
nvidea 8600gts
2.4 dual intel

p.s. maybe they're running different addons that could be causing the incompatability? I am unaware of server side BF2 so someones help on this would be useful on this.

have similar issue with imediate CTD at coffeeeshop and RULEZ while on ABC theres nothing wrong with the performance
usually theres no trouble playing PR at all.
issue was on first happening august 12. and today but not yesterday august 13.
rly no clue what it could be.

edit and sorry i missed the post goes out for VISTA, ive to add im using win7 since may /2010
