Yea you might want to take a few moments to update your profile toriifan2.
FYI once your post is opened others can't see the header.
When you fail to post any useful info other than the problem (like your system specks!) the first place I and others go is to your 'profile' page to look for your system specks.
As you now know yours is showing "Windows 2000"

Pill Monster most likely made the comment as a joke.

Telling people who are trying to help you "DON'T BE STUPID" isn't a effective strategy for getting the help you need.
Might I suggest you lose the 'attitude' and inform the rest of us what your system specks are.

Please include your basic PC info in your post :
Operating system = XP, Vista etc.
systems specks = cpu/speed, ram installed, video card/video ram on card, type of monitor
network setup = cable, 4 port 10/100/1000 d- link gamers lounge/ wired connection.
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.
The more info you can give the better your chance of getting a quick answer back.
You don't have to write a book,
but your basic PC info is needed to help you.

Good luck

I'm gonna guess bumping your vram (1.5 x real ram is good) will help you in till you can get more ram.
