Tacs - The 74/GP30 will be replaced by this and another weapon. The buttcap is considered as an attachment with the GP25, whose function is to either soften recoil, or allow the weapon to be braced on the ground pointed at high angles.

I'm going to miss the AK-74/GP30. As a proud owner of an AK-74(well, at least it was in the beginning. After a few mods, it's like an M4 with reliability), I hate seeing them phased out. Oh well, I guess I'll just suck it up and go buy an AK-47.

Back on topic, great details. Can't wait to pop some BlueFor with them.

The AK-74/GP30 is still going to be there, because we still need a scoped grenadier for that, and I doubt they will take the time to put a 1P29 scope on the AK47 (although that would be FKIN SWEET!).

Anyways. Great job DEVs. I almost screamed at the sheer greatness of the SVD model. The AK-47/GP-25 will also satisfy my need for AK-47 ironsights and a grenade launcher (the AK-47 sights beat the **** out of the AK-74 sights IMO). Can't wait to see these in .92.

Yes, for that a feature called "free aim" is integrated, so don't worry.

just SVD. Never heard of SVDM. SVDS is a paratrooper variant.

BTW:by SVDM you might be referring to a polish made SWD-M which uses a heavy barrel, bipod and LD-6 telescopic sight.

saus on that last one: wikifail

Hmmm... thanks for answering, mate! :)

I thought that because of the synthetic grips it would receive a different name. I was confused because the SVD-S' stock and handle were different than this one... so, it's just SVD, like the wooden one... :p

Thanks a lot!

Yay, I love the new grenade sights!

...I might be actually able to hit something now. :D

Will new 3D scopes be just for Acog and PSO scopes?

I don't think so. there arent that many other optics to put them on (unless you want me to list all the scopes for the sniper rifles).

Thanks,I was wondering on the Susat scope mainly but would love to see all scopes get this treatment.I also hope that it doesnt make for an unfair advantage with them though.
