Why is there two rounds for the AT? What's it used for?

Hmm...wikipedia says otherwise:

"The bolt is automatically locked to the rear when the last round is expended, but the bolt catch can be deactivated. The bolt catch button is located at the forward end of the trigger guard."

I know where the mag catch is, there is a small button inside the trigger guard which is the bolt release.

But perhaps it is standard practice to disable the bolt catch for some reason...?

The G36 bolt-catch only engages automatically if the last round of a magazine is fired, because the magazin-plate which is pushed up by the magazine-spring pushes up the bolt-catch once there is no cartridge inside anymore. The bolt catch button is used to manually lock the bolt in the rear position if there is no empty magazin inserted into the rifle. It's located at the forward end of the trigger guard.

The bolt catch can be manipulated in a way, that it's doesn't automatically engage by pushing aside a spring inside pistol grip.

So...the same as every other gun that has a bolt catch then...?

This site reckons it has a bolt catch too.

^^I think they should leave distance alone and just make the viewable part of the CQB sight as big as the next circle. But then again they could leave it as is making this weapon great when scoped and not so great when using the CQB sight for gameplay reasons.

most likely due to those images being cached ;-)
photobucket has a limit of bandwidth, after which it redirects to "bandwidth exceeded, upgrade to pro"
