Hahahah, nice text and what a cool thing. I've loved this IFV back from when Operation Flashpoint was the head of the game.
Good job!

Incase you didn't notice BMP3 has 100mm gun AND 30mm auto-cannon.

Very different machines.

I wonder which you'd rather have in a tank-engagement (despite both having ATGMs)?
Infact i was wondering the same thing he was asking, they are not very diffrent machines at all in terms of what catagory they come under in PR. BMP-3 and Bradley are very diffrent machines but they fall under the same catagory of vehicle and have roughly the same armaments.

Hell yes. This plus the BMP-3 will make great work of enemy tanks and infantry.

I get that part but does that mean it will replace the BMP-3

I thought the Russians were using the more modern BMP-3

I swear to you, I was just today, only about 1 hour ago laying on my bed after a slight lightheadedness from too much coffee, and thought to myself (among other topics) "Project Reality really needs a BMP-2 for the Russians".

Other thoughts included having a MEC vs PLA map, and having an M60A3 Patton for the US (it stands to reason that if the US got involved in a major world war with China, the Middle East, and Russia, they might consider reactivating some of their M60's). Just for the record.

The main armament is a stabilized 30 mm 2A42 autocannon with dual ammunition feeds which provide a choice of 3UBR6 AP-T and 3UOR6 HE-T / 3UOF8 HE-I ammunition. The gun has a selectable rate of fire, either slow at 200 to 300 rounds per minute or fast at 550 rounds per minute. The stabilisation provides reasonable accuracy up to a speed of about 35 kilometres per hour.

Can you transfer selectable ROF to the game ? Maybe you should add few weapon slots or something.

will the BMP3 be replaced then?
OMG, no. This new model is great and would be a great addition. But it shouldn't replace BMP-3, BMP-3 is much more advanced. Its like replacing the mi28(havok) with mi24(hind).
