Re: Supply Marker
This could be done by making the supply crate itself a vehicle, which would allow it to have a map marker placed automatically

Re: Supply Marker
definitely +1
9 out of 10 times I get frustrated when I spawn on a FOB and don't know where the hell to find the crates.

No, waypoint markers are not for accurately marking individual supply crates on the map.Oddsodz wrote:Is this not a job that the commander "Way point" is for? It's what I use it for when I command. Not including insurgency commander. Way Points markers are informants.

This.
But finding out a way that only friendlies can see where the friendly crates are.

Re: Supply Marker
It's really more of a technical issue. We want this too, but there are problems making this happen.

Re: Supply Marker
Nice. I had thought about that the other day. I had also thought about a marker for "cleared" houses in insurgency mode.
Yes, Dev1200 got it right.Dev1200 wrote:He is talking about putting a marker on a building to indicate it has been searched for caches.

Re: Supply Marker
He either is saying putting a marker on a building to indicate it has been searched for caches, or having Q menu saying "CLEAR" to indicate you cleared a building or room.rushn wrote:cleared houses???
Also DB, can't you just use the UAV system, except the enemy team can't see it on the map?

Re: Supply Marker
Hi guys,
i fully support this idea, and we have 2 ways how it can work,
1st by adding a new button into radio comm rose, and as you see:
2nd by making this mark appear automaticaly by dropping the crate and disappear when the crate disappears, which may be, if i read db correctly, a problem. Just doing some brainstorming

there is no more room. Maybe we could make some by merging build and destroy into 1 button like attack/observe, but i dunno if it can work.
