cant play pr. (must be running pr.exe, despite the fact i used pr.exe via shortcut)

I run pr.exe form the shortcut after installing, login as normal and i am told...

"you must run pr.exe from pr.exe! make sure your shortcut points to pr.exe!"

i check the pr shortcut and run pr again, same error.

i go to the folder and directly run pr.exe, same error.

i run bf2 normally and load pr (should be obvious why i got the error that way however...)

can someone help me? i dont want to go back to vbf2 where there is little/no teamwork.

i checked tskmngr and it said pr.exe was running.

can someone help? i am on the verge of uninstalling, and then acting as if pr never existed.

btw i am using steam. and have no intention of rebuying via retail just so i can run pr.

none of the stickys answered my question. and from the looks of that forum, by the time in get any decent answers other then im supposed to use pr.exe instead of bf2.exe (already using pr.exe, thus nullify these kinds of posts.) i will probably of uninstalled pr and written it off as one of those "overrated waste of your HDD space" mods.
