Project Reality Pat 1 and 2 Installer Freezes

My friend has windows XP and he downloaded the PR part 1 and 2 installer. When they finished downloading he tried installing part 1 but the installer just ended up freezing on him right after he accepted the terms in order to install. He tried installing with firewall and antivirus off and it still froze up on him. Are there any solutions for my friend so we can play PR together?

hmm im not sure about this but sometimes it takes very long to start install...
so double click the installer and drink some coffee/beer or something.

Yea the installers have almost 2 gigs of compressed data so it can take upwards of 10 mins for the install window to open. If it takes ant longer than that have him re-download with a Torrent client.
