i've got bf2 installed on my E: drive and i can't install the patch, it doesn't ask me the location of bf2

yes, and i was able to install 1.50 on a malfunctioning copy (which i have deleted today)

You may need to do a truly clean install of BF2 and the Mod PR.

nono, i don't have a problem, it just seems that you can't install the patches if bf isn't in the program files on your C: drive. i just have to reinstall on C:
