Underground Complex Locations?

Post by 13DarkWolf »

Just wandering which maps have underground tunnels, bunkers or hidden locations because i keep surprising myself when i run into one, so i was interested in whether there were any others i've never found on PR? I really enjoy the CQB hence the question.

It's not as if i've only just started playing but this is what i've found so far:

-Fallujah West Palace Insurgent hideout
-Al Basrah A small hideout under one of the destroyable houses outside the main city.
-op Barracuda Most of the map ;)
-op Archer, a cave and an insurgent hill hideout
-Korengal Valley Insurgent Caves
-Dragon Fly Sewer System

Are there any others?

Yamalia objective Mike(?) has a trench system around the centre of the flag coupled with an underground bunker. When I was playing on the project mumble server ages ago it took us almost 2 hours to clear out.

Kozelsk at the tunnel complex, also at the Missile complex there are a number of bunkers, specifically with access to the silos.

Barracuda at the Chinese main, US can get inside without being in the dome of death.

Dragon Fly in the center of the city there are a couple of access points to the sewers I believe.

Iron Ridge, at the eastern city area there is a sewage treatment plant with a few tunnels, practically in a grid formation.

Archer there are some kinda-tunnel complexes, specifically on the big mountain south of the central village and in the SE corner of the map.

Korengal...all over the place.

Silent Eagle at the Tunnel Complex flag, which I BELIEVE is always a flag on AAS. Takes years to get out, spawning there is pointless and its faster to suicide and spawn elsewhere.

Silent Eagle really wow?!?! I did find a crawl space by a rock near powerstation once as US marines but I didn't think much of it at the time. Definitely have to check that one out.

I don't think Yamalia really counts, its more a trench system

Is there any on Lashkar Ghar?

Silent Eagle Tunnel Complex. My whole team was under there (Russians) fighting the US and then the US team called in a JDAM on the spot because it was pretty much a bloody stale mate in there and it was confusing to get out. Almost 90% of my team was dead after it impacted.

The Barracuda underground system is really fun when you're the Chinese and lost all your capture points. Of course, you're team is losing but its still fun!!

@AurianTitan
Very nice videos, i liked the way the JDAM came in so unexpectedly for everyone in the first vid. The Chinese main base does look great fun to defend, I'm surprised the US team managed to make it through
Great Banzai charge at the end though :p

Whole rounds can be spend in the dungeons below the eastern mountain.

I think Lashkar Valley has the most tunnels of any PR map, with the possible exception of Korengal. Those two are riddled with them.

Full list from memory:
  • Lashkar Valley - Western waterfall, western edge and entire eastern hill area from north down to south
  • Fallujah West - Under the mansion and in the north western corner
  • Korengal - Pretty much all over, although mainly in the southern hills
  • Barracuda - Supply areas, top of the waterfall, Chinese main and central southern area. Also minor bunkers at the two rock fortifications
  • Kozelsk - Tunnel complex, under the central/eastern mountain and all around the bunker complex
  • Silent Eagle - Tunnel complex just NE of the powerplant and the missile bunker complex
  • Yamalia - Obj echo & obj foxtrot (if memory serves)
  • Dragonfly - Sewer systems running throughout the city, also a couple of minor bunkers on the city outskirts
  • Iron Ridge - Eastern sewer system
  • Operation Archer - Hill to the West of center, also a minor waterfall cave (very small) to the East
  • Ramiel - This one's a secret ;)
Might have missed a couple but that's pretty much it.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Ramiel has a hidden room, but it's not a complex. It's up to you to figure it out.
