Most annoying connection loss ever?

Post by CommunistComma »

As you know, Pr isn't that stable. There's random kicks, connection losses, and crashes.
I'm just looking for stories of ill-timed connection loss.

Mine was about to shoot a BMP with a HK missle from a bradley, then getting kicked. From TG. Then not being able to connect for a while (since it was full), then finally connecting, then being kicked. Gd punkbuster.

Yesterday I was lasing FACing for 2 Apaches on Kashan, T-72 and a BRDM both at the same time, as they were about to come in, I got disconnected.

Every time I reconnected it just kept DC'ing me on join game :( even resetting my router and restarting my PC did nothing.

I think that the most annoying and the WORST connection problem, crash, or freeze, is when your flying, transport, fighter, attack helo, attack jet, it SUCKSSSS and it always happens when your on a rbombing run, chasing an enemy aircraft, or about to land to drop troops off :(

Or a sniper and you are about to fire on one guy and BAM *Connection error* or you lay down, and stop , you see a golden arch of firebases, 50 cals, and alot of shovels > :) then BAM *Connection Error*

Why do they happen on the best parts of what your trying to accomplish?

My problem is I epically lack ram. 2 gb, DDR2 667.
Punkbuster doesn't like Mumble running in the background.
Dice should've spent more than half an hour on that program.
