Patch 1.5 not executing

Patch 1.5 not executing
I am trying to start playing PR again and I installed Battlefield 2 fine then updated to patch 1.41 and Downloaded 1.5 but when I click "run" it just closes the window and never runs. I have waited over two hours hoping it just needed a long time to open but it never does it just acts like I have never run the patch. I have downloaded the patch 3 times now and none of them work. Any Ideas? Thanks hope to be playing with you soon!

Then execute the patch.
But dont click on it a million times.
Once will do it fine. It should start.
