You mean kit geometries? They are getting an update. Bosco stated earlier that the Taliban is going to look 'alot better', and we've already seen part of the changes for Insurgents.

It is something that needs to be changed considering their current clothing style doesn't properly reflect that which they are wearing IRL.

Currently it just looks like a reskin of the Insurgent ones bar the GP30 rounds on the chest and a few other pouches/headwear.

You know, once I went to school with similar footwear...
I think it should be in a marksman kit or maybe a "Special" RPG kit, where they can truly blend in and make it hard for the Allied forces to spot. :)

Great Idea and fully workable. :)
But the white dots would still appear, and the person would still show up as a sore thumb. I think we need more undergrowth, perhaps? I think that could work. Only downside would be server/client load I suppose.

Well, according to a magazine I read, the Talibans learned camo work with the US during the... Gulf War or Russian-Afghan war? I honestly forgot the name.

And in places such as Korengal Valley, I suppose blending-in with the vegetations is more effective then blending-in with the civilians, depending on your objective? Know what I'm saying?
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

'[R-DEV wrote:Rudd;1436077']ma point is that we see too many shallow suggestions

*picture*

"add this please"

instead of more reasoned arguements, such as extracts from sources or at the very least "my friend in teh Army says"

there are dozens of locked threads on this forum that go like this

*picture of m4 with lazer, UGL, EOTECH, handgrip, silencer, light, blah blah"

"add this please, the army use them"

the pictures don't give any indication of how COMMON it is.

Personally I wouldn't have throught the taliban would be fans of camo most of the time since their similarity to civilians in dress is one of their advantages.
remember that old military fatigues are commonly available to everyone, hell an old military parka, if one were to go out to live in the wild for a few months, would be a good choice as they are durable and reliable. And note that not all taliban actually operate in close vicinity to civilians. It would be disadvantageous to the guy running the local streets, but to the mountain roaming tali it could be a valuable asset.

hell even in your picture, both guys are wearing old US woodland camo

just as gogaupsy says, in korengal you can have both the city running taliban and the mountain roamers.
Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.
