Another note about the Cobra and Huey is that they continue to use a majority of the same engine components which allows for more flexibility when repairs are needed on a ship in the middle of the ocean. If you need that Cobra up and in the air and you have a Huey down for maintenance you could strip the Huey for parts if you had to.

Marines being under the Department of the Navy requires them to share some funds with the Navy which is another reason they have always had the 'short end of the stick' in regards to some equipment. One Marine saying "Adapt and Overcome" has long been used in such situations where gear was either worn out or not living up to standards and Marines have made due.

Joining the USMC you know you aren't going to get hooches with air conditioning and cots, but then it wouldn't be the USMC would it? :)

I believe it is adapt achieve and overcome..? anyway It looks like both factions will have a realistic setup.

Off topic, but I've never been a fan of Chesty Puller myself. Post-Peleliu, he wasn't too hot with his Marines either.

If it's not related to PR:V, don't bother posting it here. Feel free to make a thread in off-topic or communicate via PM

it's basic military history/Marine Corps knowledge that he continuously threw his Marines into the meatgrinder on Peleliu.

and bloodbane, relax lad. it was one comment, even stated that it was off-topic. a whole new thread dedicated to the 'trials and tribulations of (then) Col. L. B. 'Chesty' Puller during the Battle of Peleliu, Sept-Nov 1944', would hardly be worth it.
