my suggestion is very clear, why not be able to create a hesco wall. I believe it would be helpful to make hesco walls only build able around 3 crates. and you should only be able to see over just a little bit, NO JUMPING OVER. this is to show how to defend a fire base because often we are forced to put down razor wire which doesn't protect infantry, just block vehicles, having hesco walls make the fob more fortified.
make it the length of razor wire and a maximum of 10 per fob
if possible make it custumizable in terms of 2 hesco tall or 1 or even 3

another help would be if you could place deployables closer together because right now it is almost impossible for me to place them close because of how the system is now. plus if you can surround your fob with hesco, it is easier to defend and people want to defend.
one way of doing this is if you make it so that you can choose to redo the deployable if it is not being built or within 5-10 sec. so that you can retry.
here is an example of what i mean but in arma. ignore the tents and gate/vehicle spawns
YouTube - ARMA 2 Alec's Outpost
so with this new deployable imagine building a fob with three crates lined up against the side with a hesco surrounding the base with a tow by the entrance, hmg nest on either side. foxholes in side or in the front. also a mortar nest razor wire surrounding hesco. with a place to park vehicles inside and land choppers without worry of a missile hitting it at ground level

Re: Deployable hesco walls
HESCO isn't something you can build with a shovel out of a tiny little crate from a chopper.
HESCO requires engineering vehicles, ie, diggers, fork lifts etc in order to setup and even then it takes a hrs, even days to fully set it up so not something for PR's Forward outposts that are set-up quickly by an infantry squad.

That doesn't mean bring back your suggestion about forklifts'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino;1444990']HESCO requires engineering vehicles, ie, diggers, fork lifts etc in order to setup and even then it takes a hrs, even days to fully set it up so not something for PR's Forward outposts that are set-up quickly by an infantry squad.
Having HESCO barriers in the middle of a hot zone (not including the main operations base) is somewhat unrealistic and as Rhino said, it takes alot more than just an infantry man and his entrenching tool

It can be done with just infantrymen. It just fucking sucks to do.

this game obviously wont be real time taking days to build. what if you could only build it with 3-4 crates and you have to have either a commander or a log with repair station to build because the only thing you do for hesco is pull out this cardboard like material and fill it with sand. most likely not days

you are currently on the resuggestion express, stopping at warnings, infractions and bans. Bans is where this service terminates.

according to ordinary soldier by Cpt Beatty, the empty hesco bags can be delivered and then filled by infantry with earth, however you are definately right about hesco walls that are more than 1 section high etc.

1. Read this:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f18-pr ... tions.html
Remember that this doesn't always have every single suggestion. Just do a few searches.
2. Use Search. Don't search Deployable Hesco Walls. Use broad terms, such as Hesco, Wall, Fence, etc.
3. ???
4. Wait till someone locks it

Re: Deployable hesco walls
can this be done without an infraction because i seem to get alot of those. but really i checked for hesco and nothing came up for me sorry for the re-suggestion, but i also had some ideas to add on to the hesco wall so i mean it is sorta a new suggestion, i went in more depth, but if it must be locked, let it be, but plz no infraction

Re: Deployable hesco walls
Easy to install compared to building huge sandbag walls around a huge FOB or concrete barriers yes and then its only easy when you have engineering vehicles, with shovels its not going to be easy.
Ye it can be done but filling a huge block of hesco with a shovel is going to take for ever, hence why they use diggers to tip dirt into them like so:[R-DEV]Rudd wrote:according to ordinary soldier by Cpt Beatty, the empty hesco bags can be delivered and then filled by infantry with earth, however you are definately right about hesco walls that are more than 1 section high etc.

Anyways locking for re-suggestion since a MOD isn't around to do it for me
