Compass as a weapons slot

before anything i want you to kknow that i have checked the search function "compass" nothing after 16 pages of results. "whew."

my suggestion is to make 10 a weapons slot that dosnt show up on the scroll list but is implied. when you press it, instead of having a magic compass under you, make a compass like a weapon where you can hold it. so that it is not a arcade feature. just like in arma where the soldier holds it up. hopefully this has not been suggested but trust me i even goggled it this time. also have the gps map show up if squad leaders are using them

Honestly.... if we could have 10 weapon slots this would be a waste of one....You have a compass on the bottom of your screen, plus a map, plus others in the squad that you can designate as the guy who can direct you to your objective if you as the Sl cant.

Plus would make targeting enemies harder. the "o'clock" method isn't as effective as throwing out a compass berring.
