hey all just wondering what ati drivers people are using for stable / best gameplay i.e minimal lag no ctd no bsod, gsod or brown backround with black/greyish vertical lines was on 10.4 for a while with minimal problems updated via steam to 10.9 coz of f1 2010 updates now im getting lockups in pr cheers in advance

system spec
rampage ex 2
i7 960 not overclocked
6gig corsair dom @ 1600
xfx 5870 xxx edition @ 10.9
creative x-treme gamer sc disabled in pr tho
corsair x128 ssd

I had this, all my fps games, went from 100 + fps, to 11. Go to ATI catalyst and restore everything to defaults. Might not be the same, but that worked for me

In CCC i've dropped the overdrive Mhz ranges down by 5. Might be also worthwhile checking your BIOS voltages.

Since doing this I've had no CTD or BSOD.

cheers for replies guys strima what voltage do i need to check? sorry not the best with pc's and what version are you guys runnin?

It was the RAM voltages, check with your manufacturer what voltages they recommend.
