We would like to invite you all to a funny event: Rescue on Muttrah City. This will consist on the rescue by the USMC of a downed pilot in muttrah city and held prisioner by MEC in muttrah city castle.
Briefing:
United States Marine Corps
Mission:
Rescue the 2 pilots taken down in enemy territory. and held prisioners by the MEC Forces, taking them alive to USS Essex.
Middle East Coalition
Mission:
Defend the fortress and avoid the rescue of the captured soldiers..
Available assets:
LittleBirds
Gameplay:
US Team will make an assault over the fortress.
The troops must be transported by heli.
The prisoners will be RMLa Internacional admins, and will obey enemy orders until rescued.
Prisoners must be guided to a rescue heli and transported back to USS Essex.
Each team will count with 3 assaults, with 20 min each.. IF you die youll have to wait to next assault. If the 20 min are out, we can add 5 min if you are fighting inside the fortress, to let you win/lose.
Respawn and back to fight is not allowed, however you still can be revived with medic.
It is not allowed to kill / wound prisoners.
It is not allowed to use special kits (HAT, LAT, GL, Marksman, Sniper, AP, Ingeniero, etc.). You can use only the ones from the start screen.

To be able to play this event you'll have to download the following file: (8MB)
Once download, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\levels\muttrah_city_2, rename server.zip to serverORIGINAL.zip.
Copy the download file to that location.
This will give us 5 trans lb and 1 lb with gun with 10min respawn each, this is done specially for this event, so when finished delete the file and rename serverOriginal.zip to server.zip

Most of players know english so don't worry, anyway, we try to fit same languages in the same team.....
I really don't know the time in DST, but GTM - 3 is Buenos Aires - Georgetown - Brasilia. Time of this post is 11,28AM. You can look at your Windows time to see what zone you have.
At this time, the event will take place in 10 Hours.
