Better optimization ?

The devs are generally working on optimizing the game as best as they can.
However PR is a modification and as such limited to the capabilites of BF2 and the BF2 engine. There is only limited access to this engine's code so that it is generally not possible for our devs to optimize for hardware - this usually has to be done by the game's developers (DICE).
Whether the upcoming release has a fix for a particular problem of yours will be listed in the changelog - which will - most likely - be made available once the next PR version has been released.

If you are having a particular problem I suggest openening a thread and have it discussed by the community and support team - maybe there is already a solution. You could also file a bug report.
