Post by Tarranauha200 »

Does these new missiles on atk choppers mean thath you cant no longer guide the missile like TOW?

You can, but in a different way. Think of bf2 TV missiles, with camera on helicopter nose, not missile itself

The missile goes where you click instead of where you are pointing. You can update the target in flight.

It means you can fire on the move / not in a hover.

Combined with thermal imaging and the doubled firing rate on rocket pods, Attack Helicopters will be extremely lethal against all ground targets.

Does this also mean you cant fire more than 1 missile at time? As when you click new missile doesn`t fire but old guides. If its so it will be awesome. Lazing will be more important since you cant just spam all your missiles around target hoping for best.

No more having your shot get thrown off because the pilot suddenly moved.

Well, perhaps you should play the mod you are developing a bit more...
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

So it's still useful for pointing out enemies, but not for cheating. Love it :)

What I said had nothing to do with markers, was talking about those times in the past when your shooting at a moving vehicle or even a stationary one without a lase and suddenly the pilot changes course abruptly, due to say being locked on, as of now your shot gets thrown off as soon as the chopper diverts unless you had spammed a bunch of missles. now you can just fire and forget pretty much.
