What happened to the attack helicopters?

Whatever happened to the Attack Helicopters?

I seem only to find them on Muttrah and the large map with the British Forces against the Chinese.

Kashan AFAIK no longer supports the Apaches, and a few other maps used to have them but are replaced by fighter jets or transport helis with rocket pods.

Me and a friend were going to team an Apache back when 9.1 was released but we could find no suitable maps with attack heli support!

Also a suggestion (I know, this is the discussion forum but adding this at the same time just wouldn't sound right); can we implement Attack Helis more in maps in the next release? They should be used on Insurgency (a lot of Apaches were used during the Iraq War and the Afghanistan Conflict).

No, its not, thankfully, but I thought I must inquire before the release of 0.95

I think Attack Helicopters should have a larger role in the PR maps and not just a spin off status like they do at the moment.

I agree with the OP actually. I think theres far too few maps that have gunships. I think theres this myth that gunships are overkill so they either arent put on maps or removed from maps {like Karbala with the Apache} Considering how extensively gunships are used in real life I always feel like they are severely lacking when I play PR. Ive always been of the state of mind that there is no real overkill machine in PR, anything can be countered it just requires your team to take the proper steps and thats where the problem usually lies because way too many people dont play PR seriously. Especially on public servers.

I think that was the SP version..... in the picture with the Bradley's there were bots. And in PR its usual to see the factions in SP over-equipped. For example, Kashan SP has like... 20 Abrams available from the beginning of the game, 3 Apaches, 2 A-10s, over 10 Bradley's. Theres a Bradley on the SP version of Ramiel.

That's not a bad idea. The Bradley has better suited weaponary for the map, plus the troop carrying availibility...if the tards in it use it (OMG ZOMG! MINI TANK!!!). The only problem I see is dealing with Gary. But that's what TOWs are for.
