For some reason whenever I play any BF2 related game now (PR, FH2, vBF2) and I first try to join a server, I get the "Your connection to the server has been lost" message, but then when I try to join the server again right afterwards, it works. Any ideas?

It's relative to your connection. Try reseting your modem. Anyway, if you can still play, unlike me, you should be happy about it.
