check that the resolution refresh rate is set to something your screen can handle

Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the Grave, in a well preserved body
But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting... "Holly Shit... What A Ride!"

I haven't change a thing. This problem started right after updating to this latest patch...

are you using the new shortcut or the old one ?
Check there are no custom video settings in the old shortcut

check in your documents folder, under bf2/profiles/ your profile /video.con

see what the res is there and how many hertz...

make sure your screen supports it...

First thing i did was deleting the old shortcut.

Hm, i had custom video settings but i don't have Battlefield 2 in documents anymore...

I'll have to reinstall the entire thing, right?

I was having the same problem here.

What I did was:
Delet the battlefield 2 folder inside my documents.
Start BF2 Vanilla,
Change the video options for your custom setup.
Start PR

Here poped up a message saying that i lost my controls setup.

Every thing is ok now...well, more or less. I reinstalled both PR and vBF2. I something like this happens to you just uninstall them both, then install vBF2 after that 1.41, 1.50 and THEN all 3 PR stages...
