Is it true that you can't coordinate via CHAT in countdown?

Hey i friend just told me that, still 9 hours to play new PR in my house.......

Can anyone tell me if it is true that you can't coordinate by chat on the 3 min countdown?

If it's true then this change reaaaaaaaaally really sucks. If not, then don't do anything

yes it is true it is also highly annoying for server admins as we cannot kick early sqauds till the game starts!

"1:30 rule" is an urban myth because they don't understand how the bug works ^_^

No, the sq bug is caused by autoteambalance switching you without kicking you from the sq.

Worst change ever....... how didn't they think about it? :S

I dont think anyone has ever understood the cause of the squadbug. I remember reading a post from a DICE employee on how he thought it was when 2 squads with similar names were created at the same time. Who knows.

1:30 does allow slow loaders to have a chance at claiming squads though, which is good.

But yeah, I do not see the point of not allowing to talk. Makes it so server admins cannot swtich players change map or get rid of early squads. Also, Means you cannot plan with your team.

All "1:30 rule" servers kick for being early, not for taking an asset.

Perhaps it is a bug, I don't see the logical reason of removing it.

Don't worry, they'll change it with a serverside hotfix in a few day due to the amount of complaints by server admins and players by this useless change....

I think they wanted to stop the radio messages spam..... but went the wrong way.

As far as I know, the whole squadbug thing happens when you create a squad before your timer started ticking.. the 1:30 rule makes sure that most people who have fully loaded the map by that time do not create their squad while their timer has not yet started ticking..

It might not of been intended, but it certainly is there. Seen it on at least 5 different servers .

UKWF has it, it means we as admins cannot kick ealry sqauds, we run this rule to allow every one fair chance at getting assets, also means we cannot change maps, or switch players untill the countdown has finished.

Testing, the word. It is very strange that nobody noted this in the test, but, i think that betatester don't get kicked... thats why most bugs aren't discovered, cause betatesters are like a elite of teamplayers and they play as intended.... (a 10% of all PR players?) but when you go to the real world, with players doing any thing in the server, you see that a lot of things needs to ve reviewed.

well i just played a couple rounds on some of the new maps on one server so i dont know if it was the server or the .957 update but yes, what I experienced is i could NOT chat, it gave me the spam warning. also, squads from the previus round stayed the same for the next round, which was ok, except for having to rename the squads... again, this has been on a single server so it might not be all servers that do this.

I thought the reason was creating too many squads too quickly? Ie. Last time I got squad bug, the only squad was number 8!

Also, if you can't CHAT... you need a CO!

OK can you please join the server i play everytime the round starts and go CO so i can coordinate with other squads ingame? Then i talk to you, and you talk to them, they talk to you and you back to me, and i talk to you again......

You missed the point with the offs from other people, squad bug doesn''t have anything to do with this useless change.
