I cant get patch .95 installer to run

i just got done loading the pre load for the .95 patch. All 3 parts.
So i double click on "pr_0957_full_part1of3_setup" and nothing happens. It doesnt start up or nothing. I tried restarting my computer and still cant get it to run.

Same thing for me on every PR release since I got vista.
The best way I found (just did it) is:

1:copy paste PW to a text doc (reason for this is you wont have internet wile in safe mode).

2:start in safe mode

3: install as normal from the shortcut.Should work instantly in safe mode.

4: ????

5: profit.


*edit* it is doing something when you click the shortcut it takes about an hour to launch no idea why.

I had the same problem, only it wasn't an hour, but few minutes. But eventually installer showed up (2 min delay) and I installed the game. Updated the punkbuster.

But now Installer 3 of 3 has stopped at 100%, and there's nothing happening.

LOL, nevermind, there was a punkbuster installer hinding UNDER the 100% installer you see can in picture. Imma happy now!

If you experience delays opening the installer on Vista/7...

Disable UAC. Your problem will be solved and the installer will open instantly .

Much more easy to just install in safe mode if like me you dont know how to or dont know what UAC is ops:

I guess its a security check thing and windows checks the whole file before exucuting it?
Also is dissabling a security feature a good idea?

Can you please tell me how your method works i would like to try it so i can install the game.

Sorry for not responding, i got caught up in .95 lol.

But anyways YOUR THE MAN lol thanks alot. I tried it in safe mode like you said and it worked perfectly.
