During every release there comes a slew of people complaining about CTDs and graphical errors/slow down. With all of the possible combinations of settings and hardware it's hard to say what the cause is. Maybe it's a certain object LOD that only effects people with graphics on max for example. Although this situation is unavoidable, it can be eased with the use of some organized collaborative input.

That being said, I would also like to dedicate this thread to graphical experiences so we can help out the devs. Just post system specs, graphic settings and problem maps in this format:

Problem Maps:
Kokan - CTD on load when anti-aliasing is on as well as textures on high.

Hopefully this is one less headache for the devs so they can focus on adjustments. Please keep it graphics related.

exonar,; you crash on any level of AA ? 2 4 8 ? ( i couldnt see a difference between 4* and 8* so i stuck with 4*)

this sounds more like a support thread mate, also you didnt ask people their operating system and video card driver version, 2 key ingredients

I highly suggest leaving geometry at high, because objects sometimes don't appear when it isn't.
That might be worth looking into from Dev side. Also, on some maps, the sun acts weird when Terrain is not on high.

Basically: Lowering some of the settings causes bugs. One good step in the direction of optimization would be making sure that lowering the settings will not cause problems other than a loss of detail/sexeyness in the graphics.
