Kiowa Cyclic Controls Reverse...

I've been flying helicopters all weekend, Havocs, Apaches, that chinese one I cant think of its name .. Black Hawks, Cows.. so I finally got a chance to try the Kiowa out this morning and as soon as I get in it I notice a problem. The pitch forward and back as well as the roll left and right controls (cyclic controls) are reversed.. odd.. so I step over to the Black Hawk on the pad next to the Kiowa and it works just fine..... I go into settings after much frustration and set the controls backwards figuring thats the only way to fly this thing I guess... so i test them while on the pad and it works correctly. yay. so I lift of and no more than a foot off the ground the controls somehow revert to reversed and I bite the dust. been playing since .4 with the same joystick and the same settings and never seen something like this. anyone else encounter a similar problem?
