BF2 Problem

Last time I installed BF2 I had this problem. When I launch the game it flashes and returns back to the desktop. Never been able to fix that.

But before I install PR I want to know if it works on PR or if it's just on the normal BF2.

Anyway, before we tackle that problem could you give us information about your computer such as:

Operating system (XP / vista / win7)
Hardware information (Amount of RAM / processor / video card)

Where did you purchase your computer from?
Did you search the support section for a similar problem?

I had a similar issue some time ago. Have you manually changed any of the config files? If you have then deleting the bf2 folder from my documents should help. Be sure to backup your screenshots before

Ive tried to edit the files manually. The resolution and the refresh rate.

u said u had a issue like that some time ago... Was it on PR or BF2 ?

Both BF2 and PR, they use the same config. I tried to change my resolution to widescreen and it stopped working. I had lost my CD and bought a new copy, reinstalled just to see that it didn't help. Then I deleted the files from my documents and everything was fine. You should try it.
