When i try joining a server, the game goes to the map loading screen then immediately CTDs without any error.
I was able to play yesterday and previous days but now the game CTDs when starting to load a map.

I had a similar problem and after some google search, I found out that CTD directly after joining the server is mainly caused by wrong registry entries. Bf seems to check the cd key after joining a server and it crashes if something goes wrong. Creating a coop single player game should work though. The "battlefield 2_code" tool in the support folder might help.
